Sponsor Letter

Date:

Marlboro College Graduate Center
28 Vernon Street Suite #120
Brattleboro VT 05301
Attention: Kevin Bell

Dear Kevin,

Please accept this letter of support to Jack Cohun, a
graduate student enrolled in your MAT program.
Bellows Falls Union High School has agreed to sponsor Jack's
Capstone Project, the equivalent
of a master's Thesis.

As the primary contact person charged with coordinating this
project, I understand that Jack Cohun and the
instructors at the Gradcenter have the following
expectations of me and of my organization:

1. To clearly define my organization's needs and our goals
for this project;

2. To ensure that this project meets all the criteria for
a Capstone as established by the Gradcenter, including
compliance with the
timeline (January - July) and inclusion of materials
and strategies from every course in the student's program
of study;

3. To review and offer feedback on the proposal that
Jack Cohun prepares for this project;

4. To communicate clearly and frequently with
Jack Cohun as the project progresses;

5. To contact Jack Cohun and Marlboro Gradcenter
if our organization's needs should change during
this project;

6. To regard the work that Jack Cohun does on
this project as an academic project first and foremost,
privileging the learning experience over any other
considerations that our organization may have;

7. To provide Jack Cohun with any resources,
materials, or specialized training beyond the usual
curriculum that may be necessary to complete this project;

Furthermore, as the sponsor for this project, I have
the following expectations of Jack Cohun:

1. I expect that Jack will share knowledge with fellow staff members at Bellows Falls Union High School so that they may gain insight into how he will be implementing and developing his capstone for the students at BFUHS.

2.I expect that Jack will implement his Capstone at BFUHS by the second semester of 2007-2008 school year.

I am looking forward to sponsoring
Jack's Capstone Project.

If you have any questions, please contact me.

Sincerely,

Christopher Hodsden, Principal
